Terms of Service
Last updated: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, mobile applications, stations, power banks, and related services (together, the "Services") operated by Chargii Power Solutions Inc. ("Chargii", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, starting a rental, visiting our website, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
Chargii provides shared power bank rentals through stations hosted at partner locations and through our website and mobile apps. Our support email is admin@chargii.rentals.
2. Related policies
These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy and User Data Deletion Policy. Merchant hosting and partnership arrangements are governed by a separate written agreement, not by these consumer Terms.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services, or the age of digital consent in your province or country if that age is higher. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for activity on your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may refuse, suspend, or close an account if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or that doing so is needed to protect users, partners, or Chargii.
5. Rentals, pricing, and payment
You may start a rental by using a Chargii station (including tap-to-start or QR flows) or through the Chargii app, as available at that location. Fees, free-trial periods, hold amounts, currency, and any replacement charges are shown in the app, at the station, or at checkout before you confirm a rental.
- A short free-trial period may apply so you can confirm the power bank works.
- Rental fees accrue based on the pricing in effect when your rental starts.
- Payment is processed by our payment provider. You authorize Chargii to charge your saved payment method for rental fees, taxes, and permitted replacement or damage charges.
- Promotional pricing can change or end. Published prices do not guarantee availability at a particular station.
6. Your responsibilities
When you rent a power bank or use a station, you agree to:
- Use the equipment only for personal device charging, in a careful and lawful way.
- Return the power bank to a Chargii station when you are finished.
- Not tamper with, dismantle, or attempt to repair stations or power banks.
- Not take equipment outside the country where you rented it without our permission.
- Comply with the rules of the partner location where the station is hosted.
7. Lost, damaged, or unreturned equipment
Power banks and stations remain Chargii property. If a power bank is lost, stolen, damaged beyond ordinary wear, or not returned within the period shown in the app or at the station, we may charge a replacement or recovery fee to your payment method. We may also suspend further rentals until the equipment is returned or the charge is resolved.
8. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the Services for fraud, abuse, or any unlawful purpose.
- Interfere with stations, networks, accounts, or other users.
- Copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the Services except as allowed by law.
- Resell rentals or Chargii equipment without our written consent.
9. Partner locations
Stations are often hosted by independent merchants. Those businesses do not operate the Chargii rental service and are not responsible for rental billing, account support, or equipment ownership, unless a separate agreement says otherwise. Location hours and access are controlled by the host and may change.
10. Intellectual property
The Services, including the Chargii name, logo, software, and content, are owned by Chargii or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights. You may not use our marks without prior written permission.
11. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that a station will be available, that a power bank will fully charge your device, or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chargii and its directors, officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Chargii for rentals in the three months before the claim or (b) CAD $50. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited.
13. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold Chargii harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights, except to the extent caused by Chargii's willful misconduct.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. You may request account and data deletion as described in our User Data Deletion Policy. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Services. Sections that by their nature should survive (including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in British Columbia will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in another forum.
